We can't help but wonder about all of the people who, like the breeze, will drift through the doors of our highland home this year. It's easy for us to forget what it feels like to see Torridon for the first time. So when guests arrive with wide-eyed enthusiasm, we're reminded once again that the magic of Torridon is something extra-ordinary. To follow the winding road through the valley and be rewarded by the sight of a glistening Loch Torridon, nestled between the rugged peaks of the Torridon hills, with an ever changing sky above you where light and clouds dance together, is special to say the least. It's no surprise that we are treated to so many rainbows - for surely the Torridon Estate is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered.
